Pudong New Area Commerce Commission Conducts Research Visit to Used Car Export Enterprises to Promote High-Quality Industry Development

On the afternoon of September 17, 2025, a joint research team comprising the Pudong New Area Commerce Commission, Statistics Bureau, and Taxation Bureau conducted a thematic research visit and service guidance session at Weishida Automobile Import & Export Co., Ltd., a key used car export enterprise within the jurisdiction.

Led by Xu Kai, Director of the Trade Promotion Division of the District Commerce Commission, the team engaged in on-site discussions to gain detailed insights into the company's current operations in exporting used vehicles and zero-mileage used vehicles, its future plans for zero-mileage used vehicles, as well as the challenges and needs it faces. Addressing policy concerns raised by the company, the departments provided on-site explanations and interpretations of export policies for used vehicles and zero-mileage used vehicles. They also solicited the company's suggestions on further optimizing the dynamic environment for used vehicle export enterprises and supporting their expansion into international markets. Additionally, the team learned about the business development of Weishida Auto's subsidiaries in Hong Kong and Dubai.

This research aimed to accurately grasp the development dynamics of regional used car export enterprises, further implement various policies supporting automobile exports, assist foreign trade vehicle enterprises in expanding overseas markets, and promote the healthy and rapid development of new foreign trade formats in Pudong New Area. Enterprise representatives expressed gratitude for the proactive services provided by government departments and look forward to achieving greater development with policy support.
