Xiaomi's New-Generation SU7 Officially Launches

The new-generation SU7 offers nine exterior colors across four color families, featuring classic proportions and a stance that blends sportiness with elegance; its signature family design ensures high brand recognition; and the all-new grille delivers a cleaner, sportier look.

The interior of the new-generation SU7 has been redesigned and features three-layer ambient lighting that synchronizes with music and driving modes. The steering wheel is wrapped in Nappa leather with new chrome accents, and all frequently touched surfaces are covered with 100% soft-touch material.

The new car’s in-car smart refrigerator features an upgraded standalone compressor, supporting cooling from -6°C to 15°C and heating from 35°C to 50°C. With a 4.4-liter capacity, it can hold six standard-size cans of soda; The Standard and Pro trims have been upgraded with a 14-speaker premium audio system, featuring a new subwoofer capable of delivering bass down to below 30 Hz. The Max trim is equipped with a 25-speaker luxury audio system that supports Dolby Atmos.

The new-generation SU7 features upgraded powertrains: the entire lineup is equipped with the V6s Plus super motor, with the Max version achieving a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.08 seconds and a top speed of 265 km/h. In terms of range, the Pro version offers a CLTC range of 902 km, the Max version 835 km, and the Standard version 720 km. Additionally, the entire lineup features a silicon carbide high-voltage platform, with the Max version supporting a maximum charging rate of 5.2C and a 10%-80% charge time as fast as 12 minutes.

The new model features the Xiaomi Dragon chassis, with the entire lineup upgraded to the Ultra brake pedal calibration style, standard fixed calipers across the board, a front double-wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension system, and standard 265mm-wide rear tires. The Pro and Max versions come standard with closed-loop dual-chamber air springs and CDC variable-damping shock absorbers. Furthermore, Xiaomi Auto has released real-world performance data for the braking capabilities of the new-generation SU7 Max: it can perform 40 consecutive 100-0 km/h braking tests without any loss of performance.

The new-generation SU7 features a comprehensively upgraded electronic and electrical architecture, with a four-in-one domain control module that delivers higher integration and greater computing power. The vehicle also introduces more advanced communication technologies, including dual 5G dual-SIM dual-standby, UWB near-field vehicle control, Wi-Fi 7 onboard connectivity, IoT communication interfaces, and built-in ETC (free activation). The new-generation SU7 is equipped with a flagship-level chipset (the third-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform + a 4nm driver assistance computing chip with 700 TOPS of computing power), and its core board has passed automotive-grade testing.

The new-generation SU7 is equipped with mechanical door handles on the exterior that automatically unlock after a collision, allowing for emergency entry from outside the vehicle. The door locks also feature a redundant backup power supply, ensuring they can still unlock normally after a collision even under extreme conditions (IT Home Note: when both the main battery and auxiliary battery are disconnected). Using the interior emergency mechanical handle, the door can be opened without unlocking the central locking system.

The new-generation SU7 offers a variety of exterior and interior color schemes, as well as wheel options. The Max trim level offers an optional Capri Blue Special Edition package, while the Standard and Pro trims offer an optional Tech & Comfort Package.
